Red Velvet Brownies

Valentines Day Brownies

It is almost here!!!!!!

The much talked about, much anticipated St. Valentine’s day. Here in the States, most of the Valentine’s day themed chocolates, cards, goodies etc have been on the shelves since early December. This doesn’t in any way tempt or encourage me to change my ways. I love the last minute RUSH! I usually wait till the day before or if I am trying to be really good, two days before Valentine’s Day to do my shopping. It is just more exciting that way. (Remember though, I am trying to change my ‘bad’ ways for the better, so please don’t be like me).

Valentines Day Brownies

For those that are even worse than I am, and were not able to get any gift at all from the store, Fear not! These Red Velvet Brownies would save the day (as long as you can get a Red Velvet Cake Mix). Trust me, your loved one would not know you didn’t even have anything planned. They would think you spent the while day making these bad boys!!!

It’s as easy as A boxed cake mix, Be Ready with an egg, Coupled with some oil and milk, Dump it all in a bowl and mix.

Go on, make them. You probably already have the other ingredients at home and you would make your loved ones day even more special.

  1. Cooking has never been my forte but with your recipes I think I am going to go back to baking soon, especially for my daughter. She will be intrigued eating something this colorful. http://www.secretlilies.com
